ST. PETERSBURG, FLORIDA - After receiving an extreme makeover of his
house, Jamie Dolan plans a few do-it-yourself home improvements.
"For one, I really don't like the color of the house." said Dolan
who sees himself repainting the house soon. "Tomorrow I'm spraying
the backyard for no-see-ums and then I'm adding more windows to the
living room. It's like living in a cave." Jamie will trim the
windows with vertical blinds. "And That Ty Pennington original art
work has got to go! Let's just say a blind man could do better!"
Dolan plans to paint a self portrait of his family. Dolan is
extremely pleased with his new home, however the house computer,
HAL2000, is jealous of Jamie's wife and always turns the Bedroom
lights on when they want to be alone in the dark. Sometimes Jamie
Dolan feels maybe he had a hand in his own blindness, after all, You know
what they say will make you blind.
Jamie dreams of getting a Red Ryder BB Gun for Christmas, but he
concedes that "getting one is just a shot in the dark. I don't even
like guns."
