To get The BF2 Veteran Ground Defense Badge:

The Battlefield 2 Player 1st needs i5 hours in Transport Vehicles and the Basic Ground Defense Badge.

After meeting these initial requirements the BF2 Soldier will need
12  Kills using Ground Defense during a single round of Battlefield 2 online game play using an official ranked server.
