To get The BF2 Veteran Air Defense Badge:

The Battlefield 2 Player 1st needs 50 hours in Air Defense and the Basic Air Defense Badge.

After meeting these initial requirements the BF2 Soldier will need
12 Kills while on Air Defense during a single round of Battlefield 2 online game play using an official ranked server.
