Bag Dad Puts Up A Fight

Store employee Gene Eric describes the ordeal that unfolded early Friday. “I was collecting carts from the parking lot when I noticed the lady screaming and a man running in my direction caring a purse. I may be old and retired but I eventually figured it out. That guy stole that lady’s purse. Well I just pushed my line of carts into his path and stopped his advancement. He crashed into the carts and did a forward flip into the shopping cart knocking himself unconscious” Said Gene. That’s when store manager Oberg Seer called police. “Gene is one of our best bag boys” Says Oberg.  “Of course he’s too old to be called “boy” so we affectionately refer to him as our Bag Dad.”
