Charity makes donation to soup kitchen by Sponsoring Saturday Dog Wash
By Ms M. Ceely.
Dog Patch. KY
Local dog lovers met at Dog Beach Sunday Afternoon to let their dogs breathe.
While their dogs did their duties, Weiner dog lover Oscar Meyer suggested to the
other K-9 lovers there should be a way to help the homeless. The dog lovers
agreed upon a charity homeless dog wash. This type of organization will need an
expert dog washer. They heard of one that came by the way of Texas. Her name was
Miss Cow Pattie and she advised the first charity homeless dog wash. Homer, a
homeless man on the boardwalk looking through the trash cans with his k-9
companion Scrappy, was the first to want his dog washed. Well, come to find out
Miss Cow Pattie only washes prairie dogs. So the organization booted her mangy
ass back to Texas. Homer’s dog Scrappy remained scruffy. Frankly, Mr. Meyer’s
homeless dog wash plan was for the birds. The dog owners decide to donate
the left-over dog wash supplies to the local soup kitchen. “We were just going
to give it to the dogs” stated Greg Dane, President of the K-9 Charity Dog Wash
Foundation and owner of “Mac”, a miniature poodle.
