Pink
Floyd
- Learning to Fly
Hayseed, TN.
Delbert “Pink” Floyd, shown here demonstrating one of his flying maneuvers, has
always had lofty ambitions. From thoughts of crop dusting to aerial espionage
he’s always been an air head. “Pink” was raised by his older sisters and his
Uncle Elmer who always encouraged Delbert to use his god giving genius.
“They’ve called me ‘Pink’ for as long as I can remember,” said Delbert to Junk
Brothers News. “I reckoned they just called me ‘Pink’ cause I had to wear my
sisters’ hand-me-downs, when I was young, well, until I was sixteen,” he added.
“Yep, I’m gonna be one of them there airplane pilots some of these days, course
it’s just crop dusting my uncle Elmer’s tater farm in his old bi-plane, but
heck, it’s a start,” stated Floyd. “Next thing you know I’ll be flying tourist
to see Miller’s Pond,” he declared. Delbert emphasized he’s not doing it for
the money, “Shucks, I’ve already had 4 pair of shoes and I’m only 32, and
besides I stand to git my uncle’s tater farm when he up and dies.” Delbert
knows that learning to fly will one day help fulfill his dream of becoming a
“Double Naught Spy”.
