Chef Kellum's Assault Charges Dropped

BELLAIR BEACH, FLORIDA - Police Chief Ben Dunkin remained hush about any details concerning Friday night’s arrest of Leroy Roger Kellum, head chef at Scully’s Restaurant, on animal cruelty charges. Chief Dunkin would only say police responded to a call concerning an assault on a pet owner’s dog. According to eyewitnesses, Police arrived at the restaurant where Ms. Bitzlots and the chef were in a heated argument. Police arrested the chef for assaulting Ms. Bitzlots’ puppy and he was taken to jail. Leroy Roger’s attorney Justin Case pleaded for the chef’s release when it was discovered he was merely over salting the hush puppies.
